Wait! Katy Perry is Dating Who?!

Ok so, I just found out some interesting news and honestly I don't know what I think about it. Maybe you guys can help me out. So, are you ready? Katy Perry went on a date...with Riff Raff! Or at least that's what the rapper posted on Instagram.

Katy replied re-posting the pic and captioned it

"TBT to when I went on a date with Riff Raff

aka @jodyhighroller also, regram!"

When Riff Raff was asked if they were going to go on another date, he said that they were going to meet up when Perry returned from Belgium. I can't believe he was able to score a date with her! What will their couple name be? Kiff Kaff? 

The Dark Horse singer was seen posing alongside rapper Riff Raff (aka. Jody High Roller) after being treated to a night of sushi, bowling and drinks - apparently.

The 29-year-old popstar instagrammed the pic, along with the caption: "TBT to when I went on a date with Riff Raff aka @jodyhighroller". 

Riff Raff, who is currently out in Miami, posted the orginal photo of the pair last Wednesday, writing: "ON A DATE WITH KATY PERRY SHE IS PURDY".

Just FYI, just in case: Purdy = Pretty.

When TMZ hounded down the rapper to ask about K-Pez, and whether they were going to go public, he replied: "Who knows where things might go. Just got to see where things lead."

He then said: "I'm just out here in Miami enjoying the weather and the beautiful view. But me and Katy Perry might go on a second date... round two."

Ooh, we don't really know what to think about this one...

Evanescence Singer Amy Lee: ‘For the First Time in 13 Years, I Am a Free and Independent Artist’

Congratulations are in order for Amy Lee of Evanescence — not only is she expecting a baby, but after suing her longtime record label over mismanagement and royalties, she is now an independent artist. Lee took to Twitter to share the exhilarating news, writing:

Of course, Lee’s wording immediately prompted speculation from fans that she was free from Evanescence, but the singer quickly clarified her remarks, saying:

Back in January, it was first reported that Lee was suing her record label, Wind-Up Records, for $1.5 million dollars, allegedly claiming that the label almost destroyed the band and gave them below-par promoters in order to sabotage them. In November 2013, the company chartered a deal that involved selling an enormous back catalog of their artists (including Evanescence) to the Bicycle Music Company, Concord Music Group, and others. Based on the deal, Evanescence and other bands such as Creed and Seether were no longer listed as Wind-Up artists.

Based on Lee’s tweets, it sounds like she couldn’t be any happier as an independent artist — and we’re excited to see what she has in store for her music in the future.

While Rihanna first heads toward

go?) and opts for the men’s room 

instead. Only a few moments 

later, she re-emerges from that bathroom, forcefully removing a man from the restroom. Was he 

a creepy fan, a paparazzo, or just some guy who needed to use the bathroom just as badly as 

she did? We couldn’t tell ya.

The clip then changes to Drake walking out of the bathroom, though it’s unclear whether he and 

Rihanna (who, of course, are rumored to be dating) were in there at the same time. Of course, 

the fans go nuts for him, too.

Suffice it to say, this is probably the strangest video of Rihanna and Drake we have ever seen.

 A young woman from central Minnesota who is battling leukemia for the second time got the chance to meet her favorite superstar, an experience she says she’ll talk about for years to come.

With twerking and exposed skin, the often-criticized Miley Cyrus performed at the Xcel Energy Center Monday night in what the Star Tribune called a “Disneyland of mindless fun.” But before she took the stage she met with one of her biggest fans, Alexis “Lulu” Martinez.

Leukemia is a cancer of the white blood cells. Earlier this year, Martinez, who thought she had beat the disease when she was 9, found out the cancer was back. Because of health concerns, she was worried she wouldn’t be able to go to Cyrus’ concert, according to FOX 9. That’s when her sister, Brittany Martinez, took to social media. She created the Luv for Lulu Facebook page, which now has over 6,000 likes, and Twitter handleand hashtag, #MileytoLulu.

It took weeks of determination, but it paid off.

Before meeting Cyrus, Lulu said she wasn’t feeling well and was worried she wouldn’t make the best impression.

“Well, at first I was [nervous] because I wasn’t feeling good and I’m like, I’m going to meet Miley and I’m going to puke and she’s going to remember me as the girl who puked, but I didn’t puke. I was all good. It went smooth,” she told the media, according to KARE 11.

Lulu gave Miley one of her own T-shirts and a team Lulu bracelet while they talked and took pictures, KARE 11 reports.

“It was memorable. It was nice. She just asked how we were and she said she liked my shirt,” Lulu said. “I’ll probably brag about it at school until I graduate and then after I get married too.”

Now that she’s met Cyrus, what’s next? Lulu told KARE 11, ”I’ll probably just keep following her on Twitter like I usually do and obsessing like I usually do.”

In the weeks leading up to the concert, KDWB got in touch with Cyrus’ team to make Lulu’s dream come true. The Xcel Energy Center also helped out, providing a suite for Lulu, her friends and family, according toKDWB.

Miley Cyrus Relies on Teleprompter on Bangerz Tour

 

While many aging artists rely on teleprompters to help them remember to say things or their

 lyrics or for other assorted cues during live concerts, Miley Cyrus, who is just 21 and in the 

prime of her life, was seen making use of the device during her Bangerz Tour.

While Cyrus’ has taken heat for her show’s sexualized content and for making out with fans and 

Katy Perry, the notion of using a teleprompter is decidedly less scandalous. It’s more or less 

surprising, but not hugely so.

A concert goer told Radar Online, “I was at Miley’s Vegas concert and took these pictures

 because I couldn’t believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout 

the entire concert. And it’s not like they were just there for nothing — I caught her looking at 

them more than a few times!”

Ease up, Smilers, ease up. It’s not like she was concealing her support system, so to speak.

In the twerker’s defense, there is a lot going on during her concert. Songs! Costume changes! 

Fan interaction! Banter! So she might need a little visual boost to keep it all straight. Go to the

Avril Lavigne Screams + Runs Off Stage in China [VIDEO]

Avril Lavigne was performing her power balled ‘I’m With You’ in China when she stopped, 

emitted a little shriek and then ran off the stage. What happened?

Well, we’re not exactly sure, since this video was filmed at a bit of a distance from the stage. 

Here’s what we can piece together from the clip.

Everything seemed to be going fine for the Canadian singer, with the crowd singing along 

robustly and loudly, enjoying the song with their heroine.

At about the 3:40 mark, Mrs. Chad Kroeger can be seen thrusting her mic out, capturing her 

fans and their harmonizing. Then, at the 3:55 mark she screams and runs, bolting from the 

stage.

We don’t know what happened. Perhaps a fan breached security and made it on the stage, 

which is always terrifying for a performer. Was there some wardrobe malfunction, like a big ol’

 rip in her pants? Who knows.

We just hope everything is OK!

I Can’t Stop Thinking About Jared Leto’s Hair

Just one week ago, I was standing at a Brooklyn bar waiting for the surly bar mistress to notice me, when I realized that maybe half of the guys in the room had long hair. And I was really hot for it.

Let me back up. I grew up in the kind of hippie college town where long hair on men was basically de rigueur. But they all either looked like Daniel Day-Lewis circa The Last of the Mohicans or wore it pulled back in a low ponytail. Either way, I’m pretty sure neither conditioner nor Shu Uemura Essence Absolue was involved. So my version of rebellion was to lust after shorthaired guys. This was the era of Dylan McKay’s pompadour on Beverly Hills, 90210, after all.

Around that same time, I watched My So-Called Life, which aired its one and only season—cry with me in solidarity right now, if you desire—during my senior year of high school. Jared Leto played Jordan Catalano, the show’s illiterate, choker-wearing love interest. I spent a lot of time in 1994, as I do in 2014, thinking about boys, and after some amount of rumination I came to the decision that Jordan was just sort of… okay? I liked the romantic moments of the show, but his blankness and that mid-length hair and shearling jacket definitely did not do it for me.

In the ensuing years, I didn’t think much of Jared Leto. I was vaguely aware that he was in a corny band and seemed to have a deft hand with eyeliner. Does he date models? He seemed like the kind of guy who dated models.

But I’m here to tell you now, that I take it all back. Something changed in me this year. I’m not sure if it's the emergence of his perfect hair or the fact that he seemingly doesn’t age or just the general case of extended adolescence/extreme spring fever I seem to suffer from, but I am so into Jared Leto right now.

When I think of having sex with Jared Leto, which, given his awards season ubiquity, is often, it pretty much centers around his luscious ombre hair sort of making its way down and brushing my body and getting tangled in my limbs and my own blonde hair. I have visited his editorial from Flauntabout five times a day—last night I had to get out my phone to show a group of friends. The golden skin! The piercing eyes! The right amount of facial hair! The Saint Laurent! But most of all, that perfect hair. My fixation with him is only increasing as the Oscars approach. Will he wear a bun or will it be long and loose?

I know that Jared is still in the kind of band I couldn’t even pretend to be interested in and still probably dates models, or at least not semi-hermit writers old enough to be a fellow child of the 90s like me, but that’s where Brooklyn’s new crop of men with luscious hair come in. I’m here to say that I currently own six different kinds of conditioner. And I’m sure we could learn a lot from each other.

Adele has had a bit of a quiet 2013 – relatively speaking since she did, you know, win an Oscar, in addition to enjoying her first full year as a mother. She managed to notch another accolade without doing much, though.

Her 2011-released smash ’21′ is the first album to sell 3 million digital copies. The album, which landed in January (in Europe) and in February (in the U.S.) of 2011, has sold a total of nearly 11,000,000 copies, landing it at the plum spot of No. 13 on SoundScan’s best-selling platters since the organization began keeping score in 1991.

Yahoo! reports some intriguing facts and figures. Like the fact that ’21′ has sold 7,757,000 copies on CD format – which is just under 75% of the total haul. That’s interesting, given the rapid decline of the compact disc. The 3 million digital copies accounts for about 28% of the total sold, while 40,000 were sold on vinyl LPs, which tallies less than 1% of the total. We must add that Adele’s voice on vinyl must sound like a dream!

Perhaps the fact that so many copies of ’21′ were sold on CD speaks to Adele’s demographic, and proves that most of her fans are of an older demo that still purchases CDs?

Or maybe it’s just the fact that ’21′ is one of those albums that you have to own in hard copy form? Could be!
