Justin Bieber Dedicates Song to 'My Baby' Selena Gomez (Video)

Justin Bieber hits the stage at theScooter Braun Projects Sunday Funday Showcase held during the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival on Sunday (March 9) in Austin, Tex.

The 20-year-old singer was joined at theOp and Buffalo David Bitton sponsored event by Cody Simpson.

While on stage at the showcase, Justin reportedly dedicated a song to “my baby,” which was directed at Selena Gomez, who was supposedly standing to the side of the stage.

“Fun taking the stage with all the other acts. Great people. Had to do a little acoustic set myself. Maybe I should do another one? ;)” Justin tweeted.

Miley Cyrus Relies on Teleprompter on Bangerz Tour

 

While many aging artists rely on teleprompters to help them remember to say things or their

 lyrics or for other assorted cues during live concerts, Miley Cyrus, who is just 21 and in the 

prime of her life, was seen making use of the device during her Bangerz Tour.

While Cyrus’ has taken heat for her show’s sexualized content and for making out with fans and 

Katy Perry, the notion of using a teleprompter is decidedly less scandalous. It’s more or less 

surprising, but not hugely so.

A concert goer told Radar Online, “I was at Miley’s Vegas concert and took these pictures

 because I couldn’t believe she needed a teleprompter with lyrics to all of her songs throughout 

the entire concert. And it’s not like they were just there for nothing — I caught her looking at 

them more than a few times!”

Ease up, Smilers, ease up. It’s not like she was concealing her support system, so to speak.

In the twerker’s defense, there is a lot going on during her concert. Songs! Costume changes! 

Fan interaction! Banter! So she might need a little visual boost to keep it all straight. Go to the

 show and have some fun regardless

Avril Lavigne was performing her power balled ‘I’m With You’ in China when she stopped, 

emitted a little shriek and then ran off the stage. What happened?

Well, we’re not exactly sure, since this video was filmed at a bit of a distance from the stage. 

Here’s what we can piece together from the clip.

Everything seemed to be going fine for the Canadian singer, with the crowd singing along 

robustly and loudly, enjoying the song with their heroine.

At about the 3:40 mark, Mrs. Chad Kroeger can be seen thrusting her mic out, capturing her 

fans and their harmonizing. Then, at the 3:55 mark she screams and runs, bolting from the 

stage.

We don’t know what happened. Perhaps a fan breached security and made it on the stage, 

which is always terrifying for a performer. Was there some wardrobe malfunction, like a big ol’

 rip in her pants? Who knows.

We just hope everything is OK!

It's official, Demi is back with another Jonas Brother! Nick Jonas has joined her team as the Musical & Creative Director for her Neon Lights Tour. The youngest Jonas Brother commented,

 that Demi and I had over eight years really gives me the insight into how to best communicate with her and her team."

Miley Cyrus Caught Up in Crazy Concert Lawsuit

Miley Cyrus is caught in the middle of a crazy money-stealing scheme. According to reports, a woman claiming to be the twerking singer’s booking agent is being sued by a concert promotions company, claiming at the fake agent stole a whopping $125,000 from them.

The Florida-based company booked the 21-year-old singer for the Miami South Beach Outdoor Festival on Jan. 1 — or at least, they thought they did. Turns out, the woman who was thought to be Cyrus’ booking agent took the $125k from the company, and, she claims, passed it on to the singer’s real agents. However, that all seems a little fishy considering Cyrus never showed up to perform at the event (most likely because she had no idea she had been “booked.”)

The promotions company is now suing the woman, whom they believed was Cyrus’ real booking agent. According to TMZ, Cyrus’ reps say that the woman is in no way connected to the singer’s real agent. And, good news, Smilers: they also note that Cyrus is not involved in the situation.

Miley Sits Front Row At Britney Spears' Concert!

The Bangerz beauty was front row and center at Brit's Piece of Me Concert in Las Vegas on Dec. 28. But Miley girl wasn't just watching her fellow Southern superstar perform—she was dancing, singing along and fangirling adorably, even sitting beside Brit's mom Lynne and sister Jamie Lynn Spears!

"if u told me I'd be front row & center on @britneyspears opening night 10 years ago I wouldve never believed you," Miley tweeted, along with a tongue-out, thumbs-up picture of herself at the show. Fan Instagram videos show M.C.'s inner-tween coming out full force as her pop idol breaks it down onstage. She can also be spotted holding what appears to be a beer (not to worry, y'all—she's 21!).

Britney, 32, was thrilled that the Queen of Twerk came out to her opening show. ".@MileyCyrus Love you so much!" she tweeted. "Thank you for coming to #PieceOfMe! I adore you :)."

AWW! The feeling, clearly, is mutual. In July, Miley told the Huffington Post U.K. why she relates to Brit so much, saying, "Everyone goes through a time in their life where they don't want their picture taken everyday…She just never had that time where she could say, 'I'm going through something right now and need to shut down.' I also don't have that, so it's good to have that one person in my life who gets it."

SELENA GOMEZ CANCELS AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Selena Gomez fans Down Under are about to be seriously bummed. The singer has canceled her Australian tour, scheduled for 2014, since she needs to put herself ahead of her career ambitions for the time being.

The singer, 21, issued a statement, espousing her love for her fans but citing her need for a break.

“My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them,” Gomez said. “But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be.”

That’s understandable, and it’s only fair that she gives herself a second to just breathe.

Sel is a hard worker, having just soared through 55 dates of her international Stars Dance Tour, which canvassed the U.S. and Europe and wrapped on Nov. 26.

Selenators needn’t freak out or worry about her on a larger level. She’s totally OK, according to an insider. From the sounds of it, the battery needs to go on the charger for a bit.

The source said, “Selena is fine, she’s in a great space. She’s looking forward to spending the holidays with her family.”

Aren’t we all?

The source furthered, “She’s been on the road for six months and she’s just ready to be normal and at home with her family. She’s been working nonstop since she was 15 and wants to take a minute to herself.”

Again, it’s a fair request. We don’t want Sel to burn out, and we’re pretty sure she doesn’t want to turn in subpar performances while on the road. We’d rather have her step away and regroup, and come back stronger than ever, even if it means she has to disappoint fans in Oz.
