Justin Bieber hits the stage at theScooter Braun Projects Sunday Funday Showcase held during the 2014 SXSW Music, Film + Interactive Festival on Sunday (March 9) in Austin, Tex.

The 20-year-old singer was joined at theOp and Buffalo David Bitton sponsored event by Cody Simpson.

While on stage at the showcase, Justin reportedly dedicated a song to “my baby,” which was directed at Selena Gomez, who was supposedly standing to the side of the stage.

“Fun taking the stage with all the other acts. Great people. Had to do a little acoustic set myself. Maybe I should do another one? ;)” Justin tweeted.

 anti-Selena, even though she has made comments about all of them in the press, which

lead to the media pouncing on her words.

Despite her success, she’s still a simple girl from New Zealand that drives Cadillacs in her

 dreams. “I have heaps of friends in high school, but I also hang out with a lot of older people. It 

means that I get to have these stimulating encounters with people that I idolize, which is cool,” she said.

Her recent fame, which lead to some high profile events, appearances and friends, like the

 aforementioned Swift, doesn’t mean she has post code envy now. Admitting that her right now 

is “at odds with what I write about, and the reality of my life until a few months ago,” Lorde isn’t 

cutting ties with the past. “But when I go home, I still do all the stuff I used to do. I dunno…part of 

me feels like it’s weird to just get sucked into that world,” she said.

Selena Talks About Her Falling Out With Demi!

So Selena Gomez is on the cover of the upcoming Seventeen Magazine and she chats about her relationship with Demi Lovato. She explains that before Demi went to rehab she didn’t know how to connect with her or understand all the things she was going through so they sort of had a falling out!

"I've known her since we were 7, and we did fall apart for a while, She was going through things and I was so young and it was confusing. I processed it saying, 'OK, I don't understand what she's going through so I'm just going to do this.' I don't think it was fair, and I'm so happy that I have her back in my life now."

"I feel like we're all given what we can handle, and clearly someone thought she could handle so much—and she could, and she did. And she's incredible for that. I couldn't imagine going through some of the things that she went through, and the fact that she is who she is today is insane—she's one of my inspirations."

JELENA ... BACK TOGETHER !?

If they are not back together, at least they are on good enough terms to go riding scooters together! A civilian snapped a photo of Justin Bieber and his ex Selena Gomez, who broke up a year ago, riding Segways together in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jan. 2.

They were spending a little New Year’s downtime together and enjoying an outdoor activity, it seems.

The Biebs just wrapped his tour and is working on the video for ‘Confident‘ before taking a little vacay as he preps for the ‘Believe’ follow up. Sel, on the other hand, just scrapped Aussie tour dates… not to hang out with Bieber, but to get some rest, as she reportedly suffers from lupus.

Jelena, as they were once so affectionately known (sigh), were snapped in the Oaks of Calabasas, which is where Bieber angered lots of neighbors.

One photographer — who was not a paparazzo, it seems — posted the shot, writing: ”Bieber and Selena segwaying in the Oaks. She was so nice, so he yelled at us.”

Not sure what happened there, but he was probably being protective of his onetime lady love.

Still, this does raise questions about the status of their relationship.  Are they back on? Clearly, they remain friendly — but so many of their fans ship them and want them back together, so they want to know!

SELENA GOMEZ CANCELS AUSTRALIAN TOUR

Selena Gomez fans Down Under are about to be seriously bummed. The singer has canceled her Australian tour, scheduled for 2014, since she needs to put herself ahead of her career ambitions for the time being.

The singer, 21, issued a statement, espousing her love for her fans but citing her need for a break.

“My fans are so important to me and I would never want to disappoint them,” Gomez said. “But it has become clear to me and those close to me that after many years of putting my work first, I need to spend some time on myself in order to be the best person I can be.”

That’s understandable, and it’s only fair that she gives herself a second to just breathe.

Sel is a hard worker, having just soared through 55 dates of her international Stars Dance Tour, which canvassed the U.S. and Europe and wrapped on Nov. 26.

Selenators needn’t freak out or worry about her on a larger level. She’s totally OK, according to an insider. From the sounds of it, the battery needs to go on the charger for a bit.

The source said, “Selena is fine, she’s in a great space. She’s looking forward to spending the holidays with her family.”

Aren’t we all?

The source furthered, “She’s been on the road for six months and she’s just ready to be normal and at home with her family. She’s been working nonstop since she was 15 and wants to take a minute to herself.”

Again, it’s a fair request. We don’t want Sel to burn out, and we’re pretty sure she doesn’t want to turn in subpar performances while on the road. We’d rather have her step away and regroup, and come back stronger than ever, even if it means she has to disappoint fans in Oz.

SELENA GOMEZ, who's gonna perform at Dallas cowboys halftime show, on thanksgiving to benefit the Salvation Army's Red Kettle Campaign.

She added: “Dallas is my hometown, and to be invited to perform on behalf of The Salvation Army is such a great honor,” said Gomez in a statement. “Giving back is so important, and I am looking forward to kicking off the iconic Red Kettle Campaign and getting those bells ringing across the nation to help families and children in need.”

“We are thrilled to have Selena kick off the Red Kettle Campaign and be a part of this time-honored tradition,” said Charlotte Jones Anderson, Cowboys executive vice president and chief brand officer said. “Her amazing performance, a national stage and huge, enthusiastic fan base will be a powerful start to Red Kettle 2013.”

“The Salvation Army touches so many lives and provides nourishment, shelter and support for children and families in the most need,” said Anderson continued. “Together with Selena, we celebrate the important impact of the Salvation Army’s work in doing the most good.”

Ironically, the Salvation Army has a bit of a homophobic streak, so perhaps if Russia knew that before, they would have let Gomez perform there! In any case, as for what Selenators could expect for her performance? “You should expect something new with a twist of old. We had to make it special for my hometown!”

I personally disagree that Justin Bieber could be related to the recently breakup of one the most beautiful couples. How can a boy, so young, be related to a consolidated marriage ?

File this under “probably bogus, but too irresistible to pass up,” but none other than Justin Bieber is being blamed for the breakup of Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr’s marriage. Say what?!

The Daily Mail reports that Kerr, 30, was so obsessed with Biebs, 19, that she taught her and Bloom’s son, Flynn, how to say “Bieber Fever.” The pair met when Bieber performed at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show last year when he was 18 … and on a break from his on-off relationship with Selena Gomez.

“Orlando heard that there had been some ­flirting ­going on and he wasn’t exactly thrilled about it,” a source dished. “Miranda had always claimed that she was a fan of Justin’s music. She has taught her son how to say ‘Bieber fever’ but it is supposed to have caused an issue.”

C’mon, really? It’s highly unlikely that Bieber caused the split, which was announced Friday and deemed “a long time coming” by sources close to the couple … especially considering he was rumored to have had the hots for Kerr’s fellow Angel, Barbara Palvin.

- George has had a crush on Selena for quite some time, telling Sugarscape only a few months ago: "I’ve got an undying crush on her."
