Cheryl Cole has become our new January detox diet inspiration in this frankly incredible bikini photo.

The singer, 30, shared the snap of herself flaunting her body in a black bikini on Instagram, as she holidays in South Africa, seemingly unaware of the rumours surrounding her potential X Factor return back in Blighty.

The photographs show Chez cuddling a cute dog on the beach, and she shared the snaps alongside the caption: "t doesn't matter where I go in the world i will somehow always manage to find a dog to love#doggielove#funinthesun hope you're all having a lovely holiday."

The photos are the latest in a string of snaps from Cheryl's luxurious break.

One photo showed the gorgeous singer reclining on the beach on Christmas Eve which made us a LITTLE envious as we sat around freezing in our Christmas jumpers.

It's safe to say that Cheryl probably deserves a sunny holiday if the rumours that she's set to return to the UK X Factor are indeed true.

A source revealed that Nicole Scherzinger is going to be stepping down to concentrate on her music career - leaving a nice judging seat empty for Cheryl.

The source explained: "The contracts for the show will be drawn up and negotiated in March, but the plan is very much to bring back Cheryl. Simon and Cheryl had fantastic on-screen chemistry. It makes perfect sense to put them back together on-screen, and everyone involved is very excited by the prospect."

The rumours come just weeks after Simon praised Cheryl on US radio, explaining that she really 'cared' about the acts she mentored during her three series of X Factor.

Demi Lovato ...GOOD BYE X FACTOR ?

It seems Demi Lovato may be leaving her judge and mentor position on the ‘X Factor‘ to focus on her music career.

A source close to Demi squealed to People about the alleged rumor, saying, “She plans to spend next year completely focused on her music. She had a great run and a good time.”

Lovato served as a judge for the 2012 and 2013 seasons, adorably tormenting creator Simon Cowell along the way, but we might not see her stick around for 2014.

She’s about to start her very first arena tour, the Neon Lights Tour, on Feb. 9 to promote her new album ‘Demi,’ so 2014 is already shaping up to be very busy.

Not to mention that her New York Time’s bestselling novel is doing well and she currently has an arc on ‘Glee‘ as a love interest to Naya Rivera‘s character Santana.

Yeah, you could say she has a full plate!

James Arthur .... "I'M SORRY" on X FACTOR

James Arthur made a triumphant return to our good books last night after absolutely smashing his X Factor performance.

Yep, when we knew James would be performing after the last few weeks he has had we were hesitant to say the least.

However, James surpassed our expectations and put on a performance more than worthy of an X Factor winner.

Bravo Mr. Arthur!

And after his performance he addressed the last few weeks with Dermot O Leary.


A rather sheepish looking James said:

''It's been an amazing year for me, incredible highs paired with incredible lows. I've made some very silly mistakes but I just want to thank everyone who stuck by me through this difficult time.”

“Above all, I just want to say sorry for abusing my position as an X Factor winner because I owe this show everything.”

OK, so it may sounds a little bit like an X Factor producer has a gun in his back but still, questionable sincerity aside, we say welcome back James!

It’s been a rough time for James after he found himself at the centre of an almighty row after he used the word ‘queer’ in a rap.

He was subsequently labeled a homophobe, something he strongly denied and after forced to cancel tour dates after being diagnosed with ‘exhaustion’.

However, it would seem that James is very much back on track and we don’t know about you, but we are thrilled.

Whenever she performs she always brings the house down - and that often has something to do with her crazy costumes.

As if that wasn't sexy enough, Katy then slipped into a corseted dress with thigh-high boots to go partying with boyfriend John Mayer after the show.

After the performance Katy told Dermot O'Leary that she loved her costume, saying: "'I get to dress up like a big cat so I love  this song. I feel grrreat!"

While John Mayer wasn't seen in the audience during Katy's performance, they did meet up afterwards to party at London's Shoreditch House until 4.15 a.m.

And we reckon Katy deserves a bit of happiness, after revealing that she couldn't get out of bed for two weeks after splitting from husband Russell Brand.
