Lady Gaga and Christina Aguilera hit the stage together for the first time ever to perform “Do What U Want” live onThe Voice Season 5 Finale on Tuesday (December 17) in Universal City, Calif.
The ladies have long been rumored to be in a feud after unfair comparisons were drawn between them, but we are so glad to see they love each other in real life!!!
“Well I was really excited because The Voice called and wanted me to perform on the finale and I obviously can’t refuse. Such an amazing show and I said I’ll do it, but I want to know if Christina will do it with me,” Gaga said about how the collaboration came about.
“This is the first time we’ve ever met and I have to say, when I heard she wanted to collaborate I said, ‘Of course! Lady Gaga!’ I’ve been waiting to meet her. She’s such an innovative artist and a risk taker and as a fellow female, I have so much respect for that,”Christina said. “And I just have to say guys, she’s like the most down to earth real person that I’ve ever met in this business. Female to female in this industry, it’s really hard to find that kind of a person. I love you girl and you deserve everything that you’ve earned.”
