Taylor Momsen attended the Alice + Olivia presentation at the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week the other day wearing a Daynah Quilted Shoulder Fitted Dress ($440.00) with a pair of Drixa Light Distressed Leather Heels ($495.00), both from Alice + Olivia. You can get the look with a New Look Black Quilted Shoulder 3/4 Sleeve Midi Dress (£17.99) and pair of ASOS SATURDAY Heels($42.19).

Taylor Momsen did a photoshoot for Samantha Thavasa the other day in New York. In this shot, she wore a black peplum skirt and a white tank top to look like a dress. I can’t tell the exact pieces but you can get her look with a Peplum Black Skirt from People Tree (£8.80, pictured) or an Alice + Olivia Carly Peplum Skirt ($59.40). You can get a white tank top like hers at Monki (£19.00). She also carried a Samantha Thavasa bag, which isn’t available online yet, wore a pair of Alice + Olivia Dominica Boots ($465.00) and accessorized with Maison Martin Margiela Gold Four Finger Rings($495.00) and leather bracelets. You can get her look for less with a pair of Pleaser Seduce-1020 Boots ($98.95) and ASOS’s Adjustable Pack of Three Plain Band Rings ($13.30).

Recently it seems that Taylor Momsen’s taste in footwear has gotten less stripper-chic and more gothic. She has worn this pair of New Rock 189 Black Platform Boots a few times. At a recent photoshoot she wore them with T Back Jeans in Red Plaid Print by Tripp NYC ($66.00) and The Eat Pray Love Tee from UNIF ($67.00). UNIF is know for their provocative tees (Brenda Song recently wore a Nazi parody tee which I find incredibly distasteful), and this tee reads “Eat LSD, Pray to Satan, Love No One.”

Taylor Momsen attended an press conference in Hong Kong for the Japanese handbag brandSamantha Thavasa which she has partnered with. Of course she carried one of Samantha Thavasa’s bags, though it does not seem to be available online. I don’t know where she got her exact striped mesh dress, but I do know how you get get the look on a budget.
To steal Taylor’s look, wear the Forever 21 Mesh Panel Bodycon Dress ($19.80) with Charlotte Russe Patent Uber Covered Platform Pumps ($30.00), a Pyramid and Toggle Leather Cuff by Lori’s Shoes ($12.95), and carry a Textured Satchel from New York & Co. ($49.95).

Taylor wore a Che Guevara Viva La Revolucion Tee while performing with The Pretty Reckless in Argentina. She once again, cut the sleeves off and bought a big size to make it into a dress. I can’t find where her exact one is from, but a few places do them and the onlydifference between them is there are some exclamation marks. You can buy them at Amazon, thechestore and jiggy.

Taylor wore a Zion Rootswear Jimi Hendrix Purple Haze T-Shirt to her The Pretty Reckless Curitiba concert. Her tee, like many of her other tees, has been bought in a large size and turned into a dress. She has cut the sleeves off also. Taylor has actually worn this tee many times before this too.

Taylor Momsen is known for her rebellious image and she loves to shock a crowd, so I’m not at all surprised to see her wearing a top that says “Fuck Off.” It’s tame compared to the “I Fuck For Satan” tank that she wore last year. Taylor’s Fuck Off Vest is from Religion Clothing, but unfortunately it is sold out.

Taylor Momsen loves leather, faux leather, vinyl, and basically anything black and shiny. At a concert on The Pretty Reckless’ The Medicine Tour, she wore the Vinyl Shorts from Tripp NYC ($48.00) with a patent leather belt and cropped black t-shirt.

Most of Taylor Momsen’s tour wardrobe is relatively inexpensive — a mix of cut-up rock band t-shirts and clothes meant for strippers — but every now and then she whips out a designer piece like this Printed Silk Blouse by Pierre Balmain which sells for $384.00. You can get the look for less with a similar top from Guess for $69.95.

Wants To Get Bold Brows Like Cara Delevingne?

cara-delevinge-brows.jpg

Rock bold brows like Cara Delevingne with these tips!

Aside from recently being named the face of Burberry Body Tender, model Cara Delevingne has two other claims to fame: her famously bold eyebrows. Her embrace of full brows has spawned a trend that has some women contemplating their eyebrow brushes. But if you're reluctant to dust on the pigment for fear of looking perpetually angry at the world, don't fret. Here are some things to keep in mind while doing up your eyebrows:
Stick to powders, not pencils. While pencils have been the mainstay for brows for generations (hello, '80s makeup), powders are easier to handle and create a more natural, feathered look. Grab two colors: one that is a shade lighter than your natural hue for daytime and one that is a tone darker for more drama.

Brush powder on your hairs, not your skin. One common mistake women make is pressing too hard on their brushes and pencils, causing pigment to adhere to their skin. This makes brows look clownish and fake. Use a lighter touch to ensure the pigment coats your hairs, not your skin, and always make sure you're brushing in the direction of the hair's growth. (Pick up a brow kit with multiple hues—mixing and matching colors can make a filled-in brow seem more natural.)

Focus pigment on the outer two thirds of your brows. If putting powder on your brows makes you look clownish, take note of where you're concentrating the color. Brushing powder onto the hairs near the inner corners of your eyes causes brows to look fake. Instead, focus the powder from the beginning of your arch to the end of your brow. Then, using a brow brush, blend the pigment into the inner corner.

Mix your colors. The best way to get a natural look is to blend your shades. Use a darker tone in a thinner line along the center of your brows, then blend a lighter shade out from the center of your brows to the ends.
